The Hambletons have called Hilton Head Island home since 2000. But they were drawn to the natural beauty and active lifestyle of the Lowcountry many years before making the decision to relocate. Neal retired from his law practice specializing in real estate and Betty retired from her position as a senior manager with the Federal Government to begin life in paradise..

Betty and Neal share a' genuine passion for Hilton Head Island and the surrounding communities. Whether golfing, enjoying theater rivaling "the big city," dining with friends or strolling the pristine beaches, they both agree that this is the life. "It's about living to your heart's content and finding time for the things you love-living a vibrant, yet relaxed life," said Betty.

For the past 17+ years as real estate agents, Betty and Neal have shared their knowledge and experience with the unique communities of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton with many buyers and sellers. Investing time in building relationships and understanding buyers' real estate needs is key to finding the perfect property. Betty is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and also holds the SRES designation (Seniors Real Estate Specialist), SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource) certification and PSA ( Pricing Strategy Advisor) certification. Neal holds the SFR certification.

Real estate experience: Over 17 years in Hilton Head area. Over 40 years combined in the real estate field.

Other professional background: Neal was a real estate attorney in private practice in Rockville, MD. Betty was a manager in the Federal government, specializing in health care.

Community service: Betty is an active member of Indigo Run Women's Club and the Women's Association of Hilton Head Island, as well as various committees providng community outreach and service. She stays very involved with the Hilton Head Association of Realtors as an active member of the Legislative Committee and the Professional Development Committee, and having served as a Director on the Association Board. Betty has received the REALTOR Service Award every year since 2009 for outstanding participation in community service and Realtor activities. To build on the real estate experience offered to clients, Betty completed training as an Island Ambassador through the University of SC Beaufort.

Memberships: National Association of Realtors; Hilton Head Association of Realtors; Multiple Listing Service; The Golf Club at Indigo Run, Women's Association of Hilton Head Island, and the Indigo Run Women's Club.

Family: Four daughters; eight grandchildren
